Woonwerk Partners Johan de Wachter en Rik de Vooght will be presenting our housing project Oudemansstraat at the European Collective Housing Award, taking place on October 07-08 in San Sebastián, Spain.
Oudemansstraat is a transformation project in the centre of Antwerp and part of a wider urban renewal program that the city of Antwerpen in collaboration with our client AG Vespa have been developing in recent years. What was once a strip club with window prostitution and unregulated, unlivable rental flats run by an exploitative landlord, now offers 23 quality apartments and contributes to real social change in the area.
