Woonwerk is a medium-sized design firm involved in the realization of complex projects within the existing urban environment. Curious, investigative, and highly socially driven, we work as a close-knit team in an open working atmosphere on diverse projects at various scales. Through challenging concepts, we explore the tension between dream and reality by means of architectural and urban design. Woonwerk works on housing in all its aspects. We work on comfortable homes and sustainable buildings, on an attractive neighborhood and a healthy living environment. We work on strategic projects that contribute to a caring society where the resident or user is central.

We consider it important that you speak and write Dutch, are a team player, and can present a portfolio that convincingly demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and experience to assume the role of architect-designer with at least one year of experience. Start date as soon as possible.

• a talented designer with a completed Master’s degree from TU or AvB;
• A solid knowledge of the Dutch language is a must.
• At least 1 year of agency experience in the Netherlands in, among others, large-scale residential projects, healthcare or elderly housing;
• Highly developed design skills;
• Conceptual thinking ability and affinity with construction technology, detailing, and execution;
• Experience in organizing projects within the agency;
• A critical attitude and a personal vision;
• Proactive, hands-on, skilled communicator, and an inspiring team player;
• Able to design and present a project in a convincing manner;
• Excellent command of relevant software (Archicad, Adobe, Office);

• A one-year contract (40 hours) with the prospect of a permanent position in due course.
• A market-rate salary in line with the job structure of the Collective Labor Agreement for architectural firms,
