Transformation

The central starting point for transformations is an improvement of the building, in such a way that smarter use of the existing space can be made. In most cases, a decision must first be made between retention and demolition. The characteristic parts of the building complex are retained and restored, later and inefficient additions are demolished and possibly replaced by a modern new building. The new building supports & ‘feeds’ the historic buildings. Whether it is a transformation to a residential building, social cultural institution, care institution or office complex, the starting point is always the agreed preconditions. The balance between history and new construction is an important spearhead for us.
